Obamafied Too much exposure, too little democracy

Is it just me or has the public noticed that President Obama is having to push his agenda alone? He is everywhere and his cabinet is not being heard from. In April, the Obama administration will have been in office 100 days. How many cabinet level officials can you name other than Hillary Clinton at the State Department or Robert Gates (a Bush holdover) as Secretary of Defense? Now into his second month in office, how many cabinet level offices are still unfilled? Is this just about Obama or what's best for America?

I have yet to hear a swell of Democrats articulate why the proposed banking plan which threatens to take over businesses which aren't yet at risk isn't the final nail in the Democratic Party's foray into socialism full scale. If the government can take over businesses owned by a private party what security does the individual have? Anyone read George Orwell's 1984 or Animal Farm? Are the animals now running the zoo sho ‘nuff?

Barack Obama was billed as the great orator; however, when his teleprompter was loaded incorrectly and he read the previous person's speech thanking himself, one has to wonder about President Obama's skills at thinking on his feet. It would be nice to see Obama's Columbia and Harvard transcripts since so much was made of Bush's bumbling and mediocre academic pedigree.

I am appalled at the willingness of Democrats and Republicans alike to give this Administration a pass as we witness the dismantling of constitutional precepts so vital to this nation. The Patriot Act was an invasion of privacy which Obama signed onto; however he carries it further in creating a welfare state with the Stimulus Plan making millions wards of the government. What Big Brother dictates is what you'll end up getting.

The government is printing money like it is going out of style devaluing all that we possess and our trade standards. The government is concerned about banking and large businesses while small businesses which create the jobs and citizens who work every day, pay their taxes and meet their obligations are told they must continue the bailout of the unwilling and unmotivated. The failures of our Federal Reserve system continue to fly under the radar as this Administration and others articulate a global bailout and global currency. It is almost as if we are transfixed on the same stuff Obama was smoking in his youth and are intoxicated in our disorientation against the inherent truths of freedom, democracy and the U.S. Constitution.

America, Wake Up and appreciate this Democratic Republic which is cleverly under siege. Don't let them take it away from us, for once lost; getting it back will require a revolution. Americans are TEA'D – Taxed Enough Already! Join the Tea Parties and stand up for America before we have to begin our second civil war.
