High School Student Scholarship Winners

Robin is a student at Flagstaff High School, where she is the president of the Environmental Club. She is most passionate about the club’s mission to restore a neglected school courtyard to a community garden and outdoor learning space for all students to enjoy. In addition to her passion for science and the environment, Robin also greatly enjoys drawing and painting, her most recent project being designing and painting a community mural with her AP Art classmates. She will be attending the University of Arizona to pursue a degree in Plant Sciences and Environmental Science.
Addie is a student at Chino Valley High School.  Addie is also a volunteer extraordinaire! This year she will manage the collection and distribution of over 10,000 pounds of food for homeless in her community. She has edited two volumes of Since You Asked, books that are part of Veteran’s History Project, a special collection in the Library of Congress.  She is a varsity letterman in track, having thrown her shot put and discus twice at the 3A state track meet. She sings, silversmiths and binge-watches Star Trek. She plans to study Civil Engineering at LeTourneau University where she will be a Heritage Scholar.
Nevaeh was born and raised in Flagstaff, AZ and a member of the Hopi tribe. She is a senior at Flagstaff High School, where she is the President of Native American Club, Arizona Students Aiming for Prevention (ASAP), and Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA), also an Athletic Training Intern. She plans to attend the University of Minnesota, where she will major in Medical Laboratory Science. She wants to use her education to eventually give back to her tribal community. Nevaeh feels strongly about her education and has the desire to create a positive change for her indigenous people.

Graduate Student Scholarship Winner

Brittany Haraway
Brittany is a student at Northern Arizona University-North Valley Campus, where she is a student in the Master of Education in School Counseling program. She is the mother of two beautiful girls. Brittany enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her family. She is looking forward to her May 2019 graduation and finding employment with a great high school with the hopes of one-day accepting employment abroad in an international school counseling position.
